I am going to try to show why the "Good News" may not mean anything special to some people, yet to others it means... ssssoooooo much.
In the middle of the town of Gabar, lived a Dentist who owned a large clinic. One late night, while looking through the x-rays of the teeth of his fellow towns people, he noticed that there was a problem. Every x-ray he viewed, revealed one or more cavities.
The next morning the Dentist called all his assistants together for an important meeting. He told them of a plan to provide free cavity fillngs for all who came to his clinic. He told his assistants that he was doing this because the x-rays revealed that all the towns people had at least one cavity.
"Go into all the town, sharing the good news of how I will provide free cavity fillngs to all who come to the clinic."
The assistants cheered and left the clinic with great excitment. With this great news, they thought for sure the towns people would celebrate when they heard.
At this point I would like to hear how you would spread the news if you were one of the assistants. Try to think of how the towns people respond to what you say and how you say it. There are many possible responses. Lets hear some of them. Click on the Comment button below and leave a message or bring your idea to class.
